The Alpine Cabinetry team located in Saint Cloud, MN is committed to providing quality woodworking services to residential, multi-dwelling, and commercial applications throughout the state of Minnesota, including the Twin Cities and across a five state region. The team consists of skilled craftsmen, experienced drafters, meticulous project managers and creative designers. They pride themselves on their in-house management and craftsmanship of quality cabinetry, specialty millwork, custom woodwork and fabrication of solid surface and laminate countertops.

Cabinet Finisher Responsibilities:

  • Apply Stains, primer, lacquer manually
  • Sanding and cleaning material in between coasts
  • Shadow/Touch up finished materials to create equal tone
  • Understand & enforce dying times for all products
  • Apply Glazing
  • Attention to detail and a high regard for quality
  • Ensure work is performed and completed as requested by the customer, project manager or contractor and it is to their standards.
  • Excellent carpentry and hand tool skills
  • Cabinet Finisher should be dependable and organized
  • Complete required paperwork and input necessary information.
  • Ensure personal work vehicles or company vehicles and equipment is well maintained and used in a clean and safe manner.
  • Follow safety practices, policies and procedures.
  • Provide positive and professional service to customers.

Cabinet Finisher Management:

  • Maintain Sprayer
  • Maintain all finishing equipment
  • Change exhaust fan filters
  • Change spray room filters
  • Maintain cleanliness of spray room
  • Properly store materials
  • Create a list of finish parts & products to have on hand at all times
  • Establish standard quantities to have on hand & when to re-order
  • Maintain inventory of commonly used parts & product
  • Research new materials, products, and application techniques & educate others

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Carpentry
  • Valid & Clean Driver’s License a MUST
  • Understand OSHA requirements and safety compliances.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the industry
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Good communication & problem solving skills
  • Proper time management
  • Complete required paperwork and input necessary information.
  • Ability to travel
