Local wood working company has an immediate opening for a professional trimmer/cabinetry installer. Alpine Cabinetry is an independent business in need of qualified individuals to assist us with all of our final installation processes. Employee must be able to work on their own and with others to motivate and perform installation requirements resulting in a high-end, quality product. Compensation: $22 – $25 per hour

JOB DUTIES:

  • Installing the following; custom cabinetry, modular cabinetry, mantles, trim and millwork, doors and bi-folds, laminate countertops, marble tops, wood flooring, bead board.
  • Perform all functions related to the installation process.
  • Read and interpret work orders, blue prints, diagrams and job books to be able to provide a superior product for every job with attention to detail and a high regard for quality.
  • Ensure work is performed and completed as requested by the customer, project manager or contractor and it is to their standards.
  • Inform management of cabinetry needs, problems and concerns arising from production.
  • Understand OSHA requirements and safety compliances.
  • Complete required paperwork and input necessary information.
  • Ensure personal work vehicles or company vehicles and equipment is well maintained and used in a clean and safe manner.
  • Follow safety practices, policies and procedures.
  • Provide positive and professional service to customers.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

  • Assist team members with all other functions in the construction and assembly of all our cabinets.
  • Perform all other duties and assignments as requested by management.
  • Actively participate in time management discussions.

Local company has an immediate opening for a cabinet/millwork finisher for first shift. We are an independent business in need of a qualified individual to assist in our finishing processes. Employee must be able to work on their own and with others to motivate and perform job duties resulting in a high-end, quality product. Compensation: $22 – $25 per hour

JOB DUTIES:

  • Perform all functions related to finishing and painting of cabinets and millwork from print to finished product with limited supervision.
  • Read and interpret work orders, blue prints, diagrams and job books to be able to provide a superior, quality finish with attention to detail.
  • Select and match paint/stain based upon wood/grain of cabinets and woodwork.
  • Match colors for re-staining.
  • Faux finishes, glazes and antiquing.
  • Refinish stained and painted surfaces.
  • Ensure work is performed and completed as requested by the customer, project manager or contractor and it is to their standards.
  • Inform supervisors of cabinetry needs, problems and concerns arising from finish painting process.
  • Assist in the training of other cabinetry finishers.
  • Understand OSHA requirements and safety compliances.
  • Complete required paperwork and input necessary information for record keeping.
  • Ensure personal work station and equipment is well maintained and used in a clean and safe manner.
  • Follow safety practices, policies and procedures.
  • Provide positive and professional service to customers.

  • Read and interpret work orders, blue prints, diagrams and job books to be able to provide a superior, quality product with attention to detail.
  • Work with and handle a multitude of wood species.
  • Understand layouts, templates, mock-ups and samples on a daily basis.
  • Ensure work is performed and completed as requested by the customer, project manager or contractor and it is to their standards.
  • Inform supervisors of cabinetry needs, problems and concerns arising during the fabrication process.
  • Assist in the training of other cabinet builders.
  • Understand OSHA requirements and safety compliances.
  • Complete required paperwork and input necessary information for record keeping.
  • Ensure personal work station and equipment is well maintained and used in a clean and safe manner.
  • Follow safety practices, policies and procedures.
  • Provide positive and professional service to customers.
  • Understand the proper techniques and processes for creating antiquing, distressing and painted cabinetry.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Receives and unloads freight both manually or with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Checks for damaged goods
  • Verifies quantity and quality of order; verifies items received with purchase order
  • Wraps, packages, and ships cabinets
  • Delivers and retrieves supplies to and from work or storage areas
  • Tags and issues supplies; stocks shelves and rotates inventory
  • May receive, store, and ship flammable, explosive or caustic and hazardous material
  • Participates in physical inventories of warehouse and/or supply yard
  • Maintains inventory records by adding or deleting supplies as they are shipped or received
  • Operate a personal computer to access, enter, and correct information; answers phones and provides information using customer service skills
